Based in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear in the Northeast of England we like to think of ourselves as a fishing club for all the family.
The club was founded in 1994 to promote angling for both the young and the old and also for the disabled. The club has its own private waters (see link) and is a member of the Tyne Anglers Alliance and looks after one of the waters managed by the Alliance on their behalf.
What we offer to our members;
We offer very low membership fees (no joining fee) and access to several waters . The club also has a business meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at the Lakeside Inn, Fellgate Estate, Jarrow, where all are made welcome, you can find out what is happening, information on any forthcoming events.
This is also your chance to put any questions/requests or concerns to the committee. There are also several newsletters produced and sent out to all members of the club
The club holds regular in house matches for both senior and junior members. Please check the junior and senior section of the web site for up date match
The club organises several annual matches among them the "Martin Major Memorial Junior Open Match" (in memory of our late chairman who did a lot for the juniors of the club). The "Old'uns and Young'uns" Match, where an adult and a junior fish together as a team and also a Senior Open Match
